These roles can include research scientists, software engineers, data analysts, or user interface designers specializing in BCI applications. Professionals in this field collaborate virtually to advance neurotechnology, contribute to assistive devices, or improve human-computer interaction. Remote BCI jobs often require expertise in neuroscience, computer science, machine learning, and signal processing.

Are you a dedicated mental health professional looking to make a significant impact in the lives of others? Brain Power Health Counseling, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to provide essential counseling services within a flexible remote work setting. This role requires a compassionate individual who can work across diverse client backgrounds, delivering high-quality care tailored to each individualโ€™s needs. Your expertise will facilitate client growth in both personal and professional arenas.

About the Organization

Brain Power Health Counseling, LLC is committed to providing outstanding mental health services aimed at fostering resilience and empowerment among our clients. Located in Riverside, California, we pride ourselves on our innovative approach, which emphasizes collaboration and individualized treatment plans. Our therapists bring a wealth of experience and a holistic perspective to mental health, ensuring that every client receives the support necessary for their unique journey.

Work Environment

This position offers a remote work environment, empowering you to provide care from the comfort of your home or designated safe space. While you will work independently, collaboration with a compassionate team of mental health professionals ensures that you remain supported and connected. Given the outreach of our services, you will engage with clients in various settings, allowing for diverse interactions and continual professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect these needs.
  • Deliver therapeutic counseling sessions via telehealth platforms, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to support clients in reaching their goals.
  • Ensure timely medication management by providing medication prompts and reminders, assisting clients with medication adherence, and monitoring refill needs.
  • Assist clients in navigating public transportation and coordinating transportation services for essential medical appointments.
  • Monitor and report on clientsโ€™ general mood and safety, ensuring compliance with agency safety protocols and positively influencing client behaviors.
  • Facilitate life skill workshops aimed at helping clients with daily living activities such as meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all client interactions, therapy notes, and administrative tasks to comply with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing timely updates and insights to ensure coordinated care efforts.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a richly diverse group of clients, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds. Our focus is on providing care that recognizes and respects these differences, ensuring that each client feels understood and valued. The role primarily involves working with clients facing mental health challenges, where your insights and therapeutic strategies will be transformative in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California is mandatory. Please note that we currently cannot accept applicants with an associate license, as they are not billable through Medicare.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Suite, are essential for documentation and client management tasks.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment handling multiple client cases.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with geriatric populations is a plus, though not required.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote counseling technologies is preferred as it will aid in seamless client interactions.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 122,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Life and disability insurance for added financial security.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • An employee assistance program offering mental health support for you and your family.
  • Minimal paperwork to allow you to focus on client care rather than administrative tasks.
  • A full caseload, ensuring a busy and fulfilling schedule while you grow professionally.
Career Growth Opportunities

As part of the Brain Power Health Counseling, you will have access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities. We encourage our counselors to pursue further education and licensure advancements, which can enhance your therapeutic skills and career trajectory within the organization.
