Your role
Your mission as the Open-Clean-Close Lead Mechanic is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.
You will
  • Have technical expertise with the following: pipe fitting skills; mechanical fasteners, hand tools; portable power tools; welding, and blueprint reading
  • Lead, mentor, and support OCC mechanics by providing day-to-day direction, technical guidance, and hands-on training
  • Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring full compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Lead by example in the proper use of PPE, safe equipment handling, and adherence to all workshop protocols
  • Assign and prioritiez daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion
  • Act as the primary point of contact on the floor, escalating issues and coordinating with supervisors and cross-functional teams
  • Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to company standards, identifying and correcting issues proactively
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
To succeed, you will need

  • You have 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance (piping, welding, fabrication preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical or trade school training strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in a lead, senior, or mentoring role preferred
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solvuing skills
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizationl and documentation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Certified or willing to become certified on-site for forklift, man basket, and lull operation
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs in a workshop environment
  • Proficient with mobile apps and systems (Teams, Microsoft 365, work tracking tools; Salesforce is a plus)
