You will work within an outpatient framework, utilizing a secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform to deliver therapy sessions. • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy through secure telehealth sessions, utilizing interactive tools to enhance the therapeutic experience.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ family dynamics and relationship patterns, taking into consideration their histories of trauma to inform tailored treatment plans.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client or family, ensuring a collaborative approach to therapy.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention support and facilitate coordination with local crisis resources as needed, ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Educate clients and their families on effective communication strategies, boundary-setting techniques, and behavioral interventions aimed at improving daily functioning and relationship dynamics.
• Engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases, share insights, and collaborate on comprehensive care plans.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and family dynamics. This population reflects the rich tapestry of the Saint Albans community, and your ability to relate to and support clients from various backgrounds will be key to their therapeutic success.

• An active LMFT license in Vermont, approved by the Board of Behavioral Science.
• A minimum of two years of experience in marriage and family counseling, reflecting a depth of knowledge in this specialized area.
• Proficient communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills essential for effective therapy and collaboration.
• A calm and effective response in crisis situations, demonstrating the ability to manage emotional distress with professionalism and empathy.
• A strong understanding of ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations, ensuring the utmost respect for client privacy and care.

• Telehealth experience is preferred but not required, as training will be available to ensure proficiency in virtual therapy practices.
• Flexibility in working with a broad spectrum of client issues, including mental health disorders, relationship challenges, and familial concerns.
