This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to create a conducive work atmosphere. You will engage with clients through virtual sessions, utilizing telehealth technologies to ensure accessibility and continuity of care. While working from your home office, you will be supported by a collaborative team dedicated to mental health advocacy in the educational sector.

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and evaluations to identify students' mental health needs, establishing a trusting rapport and understanding their unique challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each student's goals, integrating evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to their specific requirements.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that not only address mental health issues but also promote social skills and emotional resilience among students.
• Collaborate with educational staff, including teachers and school psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to each student's care, discussing insights and strategies that enhance student learning and success.
• Keep meticulous, up-to-date client records and documentation as required by state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Stay informed on the latest trends, research, and best practices in mental health counseling, implementing new methodologies that benefit the student population.

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and stress. Your expertise will guide them toward coping mechanisms and resources, helping them navigate both personal and academic hurdles.

• Must hold a valid and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant counseling experience, specifically in mental health settings, with a preference for background in educational environments.
• Demonstrated understanding of current mental health issues and treatment modalities, along with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical, empathetic manner.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with students and their families effectively.
• Proficient in utilizing digital platforms for virtual therapy sessions, demonstrating comfort and adaptability in a remote work setting.

• Competitive salary ranging from $78,000 to $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
