This position is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your personal and professional life effectively. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient appointments and needs.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Let's Talk Counseling, LLC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, aimed at achieving positive outcomes for each individual.
• Facilitating psychoeducational and support groups to foster community among patients and provide essential coping strategies.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and continuous patient care.
• Offering crisis intervention and support services during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and stable emotional health.
• Providing educational resources to patients about mental health issues, treatment options, and local community support services.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engaging in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development to stay current with developments in the field.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and the latest evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective treatment strategies.
• Strong skills in delivering individual and group therapy and a passion for helping a diverse population.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients compassionately and professionally.
• Sound judgment with an unwavering commitment to maintaining professional ethics.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be prioritized:

• Experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including art therapy or mindfulness techniques.
• Previous work within a community health setting or similar environment.
