The Sr. Analyst, HR Technology will support the IT HR Technology Manager and be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining solutions across the firm's HR systems, with a primary focus on the Workday platform, to support business processes and improve organizational efficiency. This position requires strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will bring experience with Workday business process configuration, security, benefits, compensation, functional HR processes, and reporting and analytics. The candidate will partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements, evaluate priorities, and deliver scalable Workday solutions.

This position may work remotely on a regular basis but must be located in a state where we have an established US office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and Infosec teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of current HR systems, their functionality, and their relationship to other information systems within the firm
  • Provide system support and analysis, including functionality and design review, with a strong emphasis on Workday Benefits and Compensation
  • Collaborate with team members to define mapping, scenarios, and testing plans to ensure successful end-to-end process flow
  • Translate HR business needs into end-to-end solutions that align with Workday best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post-go-live, focusing on root cause and preventing repeat problems
  • Stay current on Workday releases, features, and industry practices; proactively recommend improvements and retire legacy solutions when appropriate
  • Support Advanced Compensation process and compensation enhancements
  • Assist subject matter experts with testing of system changes and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
  • Develop, maintain, and support reports using appropriate reporting tools
  • Communicate accurately, promptly, and professionally with employees, managers, and team members
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by running audits and analyzing data
  • Maintain documentation and provide training to end users

Qualifications and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of four years of experience defining or improving Workday configuration or design standards, especially within the Benefits and Compensation modules
  • Extensive knowledge of Workday architecture, impacts, and security considerations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly collaborative
  • Demonstrated commitment to improving systems, documentation, and processes
  • Additional functional experience in human resources and related functional areas is strongly preferred
  • Must display exceptional judgment and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is a plus
  • Collaborative, supportive, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely detail oriented with high standards for accuracy and precision
