Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Lively Mental Health and Behavioral Center. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while providing essential mental health services to individuals and families in our community. As a key member of our outpatient psychiatric team, you will employ evidence-based practices to address a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still providing crucial services to patients. Our work environment promotes flexibility; however, you may occasionally need to adjust your schedule to accommodate patient needs. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We ensure that our therapists are equipped with the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively, including access to electronic health record (EHR) systems and support from a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' needs, strengths, and potential barriers to treatment.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group therapy and psychoeducational workshops, fostering a supportive atmosphere for patient growth.
  • Work in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multifaceted and coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Offer crisis intervention services and immediate support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients on mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
  • Document treatment progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage actively in team meetings and training sessions to improve professional knowledge and clinical skills.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and an array of evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health evaluations effectively and develop impactful treatment plans.
  • Effective delivery of therapy services to individuals and groups from varied populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building therapeutic alliances.
  • Strong ethical standards and sound judgment in professional practice.
