As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily activities will include:

• Providing tailored individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, adapting interventions based on patient needs, and utilizing empirically-supported practices.
• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use history, ensuring an accurate understanding of their challenges and strengths.
• Developing, implementing, and regularly updating individualized treatment plans that reflect clients’ progress, therapy goals, and feedback.
• Participating actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings, collaborating with other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s care, and contributing to case reviews that drive quality improvements in treatment delivery.

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must possess:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• A current, valid, and unencumbered license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• An active membership that is not under suspension or probation in your respective licensing body.

We recommend that applicants have:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically in providing therapy to individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges.
• Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams, particularly in community health environments.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

The salary range for this role is competitive, with annual compensation between USD 115,000 and 130,000, reflecting your expertise and commitment to mental health care.
