Solace Springs Therapy is actively seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to provide remote support to clients in an educational setting. In this full-time role, you will focus on delivering high-quality therapy services to individuals dealing with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders, particularly among students and their families. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of students and their families using evidence-based methodologies.
  • Conducting comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments to identify the specific mental health needs and treatment goals of clients.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring regular follow-ups to monitor progress and adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights that influence the overall treatment plan and organizational goals for student wellness.
  • Supervising Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors as needed, guiding their professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with students dealing with mental health challenges and substance abuse issues. These may include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your work will not only support individuals but also strengthen family systems and community resource connections, aiming to build resilience and foster recovery within educational environments.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Current, valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience in mental health settings focused on mood and substance use disorders.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Strong understanding of psychopharmacology for effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following are encouraged to apply:

  • Two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders.
  • A proven track record of successful treatment outcomes among adolescents and families facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Experience working within educational settings, understanding the unique dynamics and resources available.
