Your primary tasks will include:

• Conducting ethical and empathetic individual mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring a supportive space for clients to share.
• Utilizing a range of solution-based treatment modalities to facilitate tailored individual treatments that address specific client needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that focus on measurable goals for improved mental well-being.

This position serves adults presenting with stable, low-acuity mental health concerns. You will work with a diverse population, often engaging with clients who may be experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress management. Cultural sensitivity and respectful communication will be essential in building trusting relationships.

To be considered for the role of Mental Health Counselor, candidates must possess:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
• A valid and current state license in mental health practice, including:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Psychologist (PsyD)
• Independently licensed to practice without supervision, with no current disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, sympathetic nature.
• Proficient computer literacy, especially in video conferencing platforms and electronic health records.
• Stable internet connection for conducting sessions.

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth counseling, knowledge of effective therapy methodologies, or specialization in certain therapeutic techniques may enhance your suitability for this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year for full-time counselors, with part-time roles offering approximately USD 65,000 yearly based on hours worked. Our benefits include:
