• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental and emotional health needs, establishing a comprehensive view to inform treatment planning.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions through evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Collaborate closely with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals and continually monitor their progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide teletherapy options, ensuring accessibility for clients who may benefit from virtual sessions due to geographical constraints or personal circumstances.
• Meticulously maintain documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to adhere to ethical standards and facilitate continuity of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and utilizing resources to keep abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practices.

In this role, you will primarily support clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship stressors. Fairview Behavioral Center serves a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to adults. A commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity is crucial in effectively addressing the unique needs of each individual within our community.

• A current and valid license as a mental health practitioner, including but not limited to: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• An advanced degree (Master's or Doctoral) in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Strong empathetic, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities to effectively manage a diverse caseload.

• Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in community health, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently manage client information and documentation.
• Prior experience in providing telehealth services or virtual therapy would be an asset.
