Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality individual therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to suit individual client needs.
• Set therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, regularly monitoring and assessing their progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual therapy options, enhancing accessibility to mental health services.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of evolving mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Fairview Behavioral Center, you will work with a diverse clientele encompassing various age groups and backgrounds, all seeking support for a range of mental health concerns. From anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and trauma-related issues, your role will focus on delivering compassionate care that meets the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license to practice as one of the following: Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating a safe and trusting relationship with clients.
• A strong capacity for empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach toward clients’ experiences and challenges.
• Effective organizational and time-management abilities to manage a caseload and complete administrative tasks efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy in a private practice or community health setting.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote counseling methodologies.
