• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for individuals, couples, and families, tailoring treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Engage in therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and modalities to effectively address mental health issues.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and wellness coaches to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in regular case conferences and supervision sessions to discuss treatment strategies and enhance clinical skills.

Our clients range in age and circumstances, coming from various backgrounds in Silver Spring and surrounding areas. They present with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A current state license (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C) is essential for functioning as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and patient care.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills are crucial for building strong therapeutic relationships.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other relevant technology; familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus.

• Three or more years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience in specialized areas such as child and adolescent therapy or trauma-informed care is highly valued.
