• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions using secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing tools to ensure privacy and safety during all interactions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, establish personalized treatment plans, and define measurable therapeutic goals tailored to individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, applying methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to foster emotional and behavioral improvements.
• Provide immediate support in crisis situations, employing crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety and effective management of urgent challenges.
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Offer educational resources to clients, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions, coping mechanisms, and community resources available for additional support.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, attending training and workshops to stay current with best practices and advancements in the mental health field.

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Life Medic Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. You will provide culturally competent care that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client, ensuring that therapy is personalized and effective.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree or higher.
• At least two years of professional experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting.
• Proven ability to deliver effective therapeutic services in a virtual environment, with a strong understanding of telehealth technologies and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing a trusting rapport with clients.
• A commitment to ethical practices in mental health counseling, including confidentiality and professional integrity.
• The capability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a remote team.
• Flexibility to accommodate client schedules, including the ability to work evenings or weekends as necessary.

• Experience in a remote or telehealth counseling role is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a potential sign-on bonus.
