• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, including depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder.
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific needs, goals, and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively support clients in their journey toward improved mental health.
• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment processes, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, adapting approaches and plans to better serve their evolving needs.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive, holistic care for each client.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in regular training, case consultations, and team enhancement activities to continuously refine clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mood disorder treatment.
• Act as an advocate for clients within the community, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues.

You will primarily work with diverse adults experiencing various mood disorders, including major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and bipolar disorder. Your approach will focus on individualized care that promotes recovery and resilience, fostering a therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to pursue their mental health goals.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Proficient in evidence-based treatment strategies such as CBT and DBT, with a strong ability to apply these methods in practice.
• Sound knowledge of psychopharmacology and the skills necessary for effective collaboration with psychiatric professionals.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes for clients with mood disorders through therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

Experience within an outpatient mental health setting is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate client documentation will be beneficial. Prior engagement in professional development activities, such as workshops or specialized training in mood disorders, is also advantageous.

The compensation package for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
