Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to connect with clients virtually. You will be provided with the necessary tools and resources to deliver therapy effectively while maintaining a work-life balance. Our normal business hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a structured schedule that supports your professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments to evaluate the symptoms and impact of mood disorders on clientsโ€™ lives, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and mental health needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to address various mood disorders.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, equipping them with self-care strategies, coping mechanisms, and information about treatment options.
  • Regularly assess and document clientsโ€™ progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and discuss medication management as needed.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and advances in the treatment of mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and best practices within the mental health profession.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, actively participating in discussions to share insights and best practices for treatment.
  • Advocate for clients, helping to dismantle stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging openness and accessibility in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The diverse backgrounds of our clients require a compassionate and adaptable approach, ensuring that each individual receives culturally competent and personalized care.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work (LCSW), Mental Health Counseling (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure to practice as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, especially for mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.
  • Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and collaboration with medical professionals.
  • A proven history of successful client outcomes in managing mood disorders.
