Although the work setting is primarily remote, you will communicate seamlessly with your colleagues in our outpatient office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining open lines of communication with physicians, healthcare providers, and the treatment team to report on patient progress, needs, concerns, and possible challenges.
• Documenting clinical findings and maintaining accurate, timely records including comprehensive clinical and progress notes, adhering to departmental policies and standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and discharge plans based on thorough psychosocial assessments.
• Providing counseling and crisis intervention to patients, along with thorough assessments and interventions for emotional and behavioral health issues.
• Coordinating discharge planning efforts for clients, working closely with various providers to facilitate seamless access to necessary services and supports.
• Consulting with clients' families or support systems to ensure comprehensive treatment and effective transition from services.

This role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, from mild anxiety and depression to more severe emotional and behavioral issues. Your compassionate approach will be essential in establishing trust and rapport with clients, guiding them through their treatment journey and fostering positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or an equivalent credential.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering evidence-based mental health services and treatment.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly MS Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is also advantageous.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
