• Conduct comprehensive individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to address the unique emotional and relational challenges faced by clients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Perform detailed assessments of clients’ needs, focusing on relational dynamics, emotional struggles, and defined recovery goals. Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that interlace mental health support with rehabilitation objectives.
• Utilize established therapeutic approaches, specifically family systems theory, to improve communication, facilitate conflict resolution, and develop effective coping strategies for clients and their families.

• Educate clients and their support systems about the emotional dimensions of their rehabilitation experience, including effective coping mechanisms and methods to strengthen familial relationships during recovery.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth by staying informed on the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in marriage and family therapy, particularly as it relates to the rehabilitation sector.

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with addiction, mental health issues, and the psychosocial aspects of physical rehabilitation. You will work closely with clients and their families to provide a supportive framework that empowers them throughout their recovery journey.

• Valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.
• A Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000, complemented by a competitive benefits package.
