• Conduct detailed intake assessments to evaluate client needs, mental health status, and develop individualized treatment strategies.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness approaches, to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies to promote understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to organizational policies and compliance standards.
• Stay current on industry trends, and relevant research and integrate new findings into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.

This role involves working with a diverse client population comprising individuals facing various mental health challenges. Clients may include adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues. Our goal is to provide tailored therapeutic interventions that cater to each client’s unique circumstances. You will play a vital role in their journey toward recovery and well-being.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
• Must hold a current license in New York State (LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC).
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and client management software to facilitate effective therapy sessions and documentation.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a behavioral health or outpatient setting.
• Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals with complex mental health diagnoses, is advantageous.
