• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments aimed at capturing the unique challenges and experiences of each patient, allowing for the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to cater to individual patient needs while considering their cultural contexts—this includes techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to effectively address mental health issues and foster resilience.
• Engage in active collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to provide integrated care that attends to the full scope of each patient’s needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support to individuals in distress.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options available, and community resources, thus empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to enhance professional development and improve service delivery.
• Stay abreast of the latest research findings and best practices in mental health therapy, ensuring the provision of high-quality care.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• A profound understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, combined with a commitment to cultural competence in therapy.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy services, employing culturally responsive methods to connect with clients.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with individuals from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a comfort level with modern technology.
• A commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and patient confidentiality.
• A collaborative spirit and a willingness to engage with multidisciplinary teams.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or outpatient mental health setting.
