• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, formulating personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing proven therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Implement trauma-informed care practices, engaging with clients holistically to support diverse psychological struggles including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client documentation in compliance with California state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Participate in case reviews, engage in ongoing education opportunities, and attend professional development workshops to refine skills and practices.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Opti Mind, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, ages, and life circumstances. Our focus is on creating a welcoming environment that encourages clients to express themselves freely, addressing issues that may include but are not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and family dynamics.

• A valid LPCC license in the state of California, with an active good standing status.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience directly related to mental health counseling and therapy.
• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills essential for building trusting therapeutic relationships.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Experience in providing telehealth services, particularly during the unique demands of the modern healthcare environment.
• Background in crisis intervention and working with at-risk populations.
