Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clientsโ€™ mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

  • Document every stage of the counseling process diligentlyโ€”from initial consultations through ongoing progress assessments.
  • Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and social workers, to create cohesive intervention strategies.
  • Provide necessary follow-ups for clients transitioning to or from hospital admissions, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Assist families and primary caregivers in navigating the complexities of mental health challenges within their loved ones.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve working with individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
