Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and psychoeducation according to each client’s needs.
  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, either individually or in groups, guiding clients through their therapeutic journey and equipping them with coping strategies and resources.
  • Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly while documenting all interactions in electronic health record (EHR) systems for continuity of care.
  • Provide referrals to additional healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, when medication management is indicated, ensuring a comprehensive support system for clients.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, collaborate on treatment approaches, and share insights with colleagues.
  • Maintain professional boundaries while fostering a compassionate, supportive relationship with clients, building trust and encouraging open communication.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your work will not only address these issues but also empower clients to build resilience and tools necessary for lasting recovery.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess a current and valid state license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
  • At least four years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably within an outpatient setting.
  • Thorough understanding of diverse mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and culturally competent practices.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport with a varied patient population.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with modern computer applications is essential.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering both individual and group therapy using inclusive approaches tailored to diverse populations.
  • A background in substance use treatment or trauma-informed care will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development through ongoing education and training.
Compensation and Benefits
