• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, social, and economic factors affecting patients' recovery.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions that address a wide spectrum of issues, including adjustment disorders, trauma, grief, and coping strategies.
• Develop and implement effective discharge plans while ensuring patients are connected to community resources and support services post-discharge.
• Collaborate closely with medical teams to create a holistic care plan that integrates psychosocial support into overall treatment.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies, contributing to the overall quality of care.
• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, providing immediate emotional support to patients in distress.
• Participate in committees and relevant meetings to offer insights from a social work perspective, helping to shape policies that improve patient outcomes.

This role primarily focuses on patients undergoing detoxification and their families. You will engage with individuals at various stages of addiction recovery, fostering a sense of hope and resilience. Your contributions will help create a supportive and understanding environment that encourages patients to address their behavioral health challenges and reinforces their journey towards long-term recovery.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting, ideally in behavioral health or addiction services.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, mental health diagnoses, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Demonstrable communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills that foster productive working relationships.
