• Conduct comprehensive therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, adhering to professional ethical standards and best practices.
• Assess client needs through detailed intake evaluations and create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy, to help clients achieve their mental health goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and case managers, to provide holistic care and referrals when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records using our electronic health record (EHR) system in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all documentation is timely and complete.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and supervision to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.

As a licensed LMFT at Cascade Connection Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and family dynamics. Our community includes clients from various backgrounds, requiring culturally competent care, which you will provide in a supportive and empathetic manner. We place a strong emphasis on family systems, understanding that the dynamics within a family can significantly impact individual health.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; however, a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related area is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Tennessee.
• Thorough understanding of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices for individuals and families.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, contributing to effective client interactions and documentation.
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Additional certifications related to LMFT are an advantage.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience working as an LMFT.
• Demonstrated experience conducting telehealth counseling, especially in a remote setting.
• Expertise in working with family systems and addressing systemic issues in therapy.
