Position Overview

Work Environment

This position allows for a remote work setting while remaining integrated within a collaborative outpatient office culture. Staff members participate in regular team meetings and professional development workshops. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions with the goal of fostering personal insights and enhancing relational dynamics.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans supporting their specific goals.
  • Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy, to guide clients in their therapeutic journey.
  • Document and maintain accurate and confidential client records to track progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure a holistic approach to client care and treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will work closely with a diverse client population, including those experiencing relationship difficulties, stress, anxiety, depression, and family conflict. By addressing unique individual and familial challenges, you will empower clients through therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting healing and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active LMFT license in the state of Tennessee is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate meaningful therapeutic conversations.
  • Ability to foster trust and build rapport with clients quickly, creating a safe space for open dialogue.
  • Relevant certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities are preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a range of mental health issues.
Compensation and Benefits
