• Conduct thorough evaluations: Meet with clients to assess their mental health concerns using clinical interviews, standardized assessments, and observational techniques to accurately identify their needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans: Collaborate with clients to establish individualized strategies and goals, focusing on specific areas of concern.
• Deliver evidence-based counseling: Utilize the latest methodologies in mental health counseling, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to provide the most effective care.
• Facilitate progress tracking: Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client feedback and progress, ensuring that each session remains relevant and productive.
• Maintain strong communication: Keep open lines of communication with clients, fostering trust and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere during sessions.
• Coordinate with other professionals: If necessary, refer clients to additional healthcare providers or specialists, creating a comprehensive support network to address their needs.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele from the local community in Saint Petersburg, Florida, encompassing various age groups, backgrounds, and mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological disorders. Understanding the cultural and socio-economic context of our clients will be essential in providing effective and respectful care.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients, fostering an environment of trust and openness.
• Competence in developing customized treatment plans and adjusting them as needed based on client progress.

• Experience in a community health setting or with a similar patient population is highly valued.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote counseling practices.
