In your role as a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Provide empathetic, solution-focused individual counseling to clients via video sessions.
• Assess clients’ behavioral and mental health needs, developing personalized therapy goals and objectives.
• Utilize effective treatment modalities to guide clients toward their therapeutic outcomes.
• Monitor client progression, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Develop healthy coping strategies with clients, equipping them with tools to manage life’s challenges.
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation related to client sessions while adhering to ethical standards.

Your work will primarily focus on stable, low-acuity adults seeking support in managing mental health challenges. You will engage with a diverse client base who may be dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. Your ability to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship will be essential for client engagement and success.

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and valid state license to practice independently as a mental health professional, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• No disciplinary actions currently on your license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, combined with a strong empathetic approach to client care.
• Familiarity with contemporary developments in psychotherapy practices.
• Proficiency in using technology, including telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.

• Experience in teletherapy or virtual counseling settings is a plus.
• Prior experience with low-acuity adult populations is preferred.
• Ability to implement evidence-based frameworks in therapy, adapting approaches to fit individual client needs.

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 50,000 and 130,000 annually, based on your caseload and hours worked. You will receive weekly direct deposits and have access to health insurance options, with healthcare benefits available for full-time counselors.
