A leading Building Automation contractor is seeking a skilled Programmer/Technician to support projects across the San Francisco Bay Area. This position features a blend of 80% field work and 20% remote or office work and is open to both Union and Non-Union professionals.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced BAS technician ready to join a high-caliber controls group. You'll collaborate closely with seasoned programmers and integrators on service, retrofit, and installation initiatives.

Position Overview:
  • Title: BAS Programmer/Technician
  • Location: San Francisco Bay Area
  • Status: Union or Non-Union
  • Work Type: 80% Field / 20% Remote or Office
  • Compensation: $80,000-$140,000 (DOE) + Overtime
Responsibilities:
  • Support a mix of service, renovation, and ground-up controls projects
  • Program DDC systems and assist with field startup and commissioning
  • Revise sequences of operation and troubleshoot controls issues
  • Create applications using existing libraries or fully custom logic
  • Independently manage field tasks, deliverables, and smaller project scopes
  • Perform third-party integrations (BACnet, Modbus, LON, etc.)
  • Set up alarms, trends, graphics, and user interfaces
