This position is 100% remote, allowing therapists to maintain a healthy work-life balance while engaging with clients. Our therapists participate in virtual in-service meetings, team workshops, and regular professional development sessions to stay abreast of the latest evidence-based therapies and trends in mental health care.

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions to clients, ensuring thorough documentation of each session in compliance with our organizational policies and procedures regarding medical records and patient confidentiality.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to manage immediate psychological issues effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients during critical moments.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for a wide range of mental health disorders, developing tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
• Facilitate both individual and family therapy sessions, employing varied therapeutic modalities based on the client’s requirements and progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through trainings and workshops, equipping yourself with advanced skills and knowledge while also collaborating with colleagues to promote best practices.

As an LMFT at Sierra Vista Counseling Center, Inc., you will work with a diverse population experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. • Current Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in therapeutic settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing effective psychological interventions.
• Exceptional empathetic skills with a proven ability to create a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Experience conducting psychological evaluations, particularly in bariatric treatment contexts.
• Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and remote counseling practices.
• Demonstrable skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
