PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Banking Solutions Specialist supports system enhancements, documentation updates, and process improvement efforts across customer-facing operations. This role assists with testing, analysis, and implementation of workflow improvements and contributes to strategic projects led by the optimization team. This position can be located in any of our market locations. It is not eligible for remote or hybrid arrangements.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
  • Assists with operational support for customer-facing teams as needed, stepping in to assist the Banking Support team with call handling, inquiry resolution, and workflow coverage during peak volumes, absences, or special initiatives.
  • Assist with evaluating project intake requests by analyzing process impacts, identifying efficiency opportunities, and providing recommendations and supporting materials to the Banking Solutions Lead to inform prioritization and assignment decisions.
  • Carry out assigned process optimization initiatives by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, completing required deliverables, communicating status updates, and coordinating follow up actions to support successful implementation.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to customer-facing systems, processes, and products by reviewing current practices, identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, researching best practices, and providing recommendations and analysis to support enhancements. Assist with implementation activities and prepare supporting documentation or materials for meetings as needed.
  • Analyze Branch Operations Review results to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and risk management, translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Review deposit new account and maintenance exception reports to identify trends, findings, and patterns, and escalate observations and recommendations related to procedure, process, and communication improvements.
  • Contribute content for weekly operational updates (e.g., The Operational Edge).
  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and governance of standardized operating procedures, store playbooks, and related resources for customer-facing operations by contributing content, providing frontline feedback, assisting with updates, and ensuring materials remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with optimized workflows, system capabilities, and organizational standards.
  • Act as backup system administrator for assigned systems.
  • Support strategic projects related to customer-facing systems, processes, and products, assisting with research, documentation, and preparation of materials for meetings and presentations as needed.
  • Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery efforts for customer-facing functions in partnership with the Banking Support team, including participation in planning and testing. Provide guidance, coordination, and continuous improvement support to help ensure continuity readiness across customer-facing operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
  • Two (2) or more years of previous banking center front-line experience
  • Strong working knowledge of bank application systems, products, and services
  • Solid understanding of Teller and Platform job functions and how they support customer-facing operations
  • Strong knowledge of principles and processes for providing quality customer and personal services
  • Computer literate with moderate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and visual aids technology
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, to a wide audience
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to interpret and act on verbal information
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-directed and highly motivated
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions
