Position Overview

Work Environment

This position will predominantly be remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to work from home. You will be engaged in a climate-controlled office environment, where you'll have daily interactions with healthcare staff and fellow clinicians to ensure a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Regular movement throughout the facility will be part of your routine, facilitating the connection with your colleagues and the services provided to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing, diagnosing when necessary, and evaluating patient's mental health status using tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to develop individualized care plans.
  • Continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting therapeutic interventions to align with the evolving needs and mental health diagnoses of your patients.
  • Preparing and maintaining timely and accurate treatment records and clinical documentation using current technology, in adherence to regulatory and departmental guidelines.
  • Collaborating closely with patients to create comprehensive treatment plans that set clear objectives and address their unique needs and desired outcomes.
  • Establishing effective relationships with community resources and referral agencies, serving as a crucial link between patients and healthcare services.
  • Providing educational support and supervision to new team members, including students and interns, fostering a collaborative learning atmosphere.
  • Participating in peer reviews, clinical collaborations, and chart audits under the guidance of your clinical supervisor, contributing to team members' professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is individuals and families affected by cancer diagnoses. As a licensed professional, you will engage with a diverse patient population, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural and emotional needs of each client while facilitating their journey through treatment and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with oncology patients or those dealing with critical health issues. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and documentation practices will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
