Municipal Corporate Trust Relationship Manager III (Remote)
Agility 360 is seeking a Municipal Corporate Trust Relationship Manager III to manage a portfolio of Public Finance Corporate Trust clients while ensuring exceptional client service, operational excellence, compliance oversight, and relationship growth. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, business development officers, and internal teams, overseeing trustee, paying agent, escrow, custodial safekeeping, and other corporate trust services. The ideal candidate will combine strong relationship management, leadership, banking operations, and regulatory expertise to drive client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Manage a portfolio of Public Finance Corporate Trust clients requiring Trustee, Paying Agent, Escrow, custodial safekeeping, and related corporate trust services.
  • Oversee day-to-day client operations, service delivery, and reporting in partnership with client service associates.
  • Monitor and respond to client inquiries while ensuring timely resolution of service-related issues.
  • Coordinate debt service bond payments and ensure accurate execution of trustee and paying agent responsibilities.
  • Monitor portfolio compliance requirements and identify, escalate, and resolve non-routine operational issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Public Finance Corporate Trust clients and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Business Development Officers to support client retention, relationship expansion, and new business opportunities.
  • Review and approve new client relationships in accordance with account acceptance policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external intermediaries that support the Public Finance business.
  • Ensure clients receive accurate, timely, and required reporting and communication.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, bondholders, attorneys, trustees, and other interested parties.
  • Identify operational challenges, business risks, and process improvement opportunities; implement solutions to enhance efficiency and controls.
  • Coordinate operational changes and process enhancements within the business unit.
  • Support achievement of revenue, new business, and expense management goals.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop client service associates and other team members.
  • Participate in hiring, performance management, employee development, and annual review processes.
  • Drive product efficiency initiatives and lead business-related projects as needed.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Corporate Trust, Public Finance, banking, or a related financial services field.
  • Public Finance and Tender Option Bond (TOB) experience is a must
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team management experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Corporate Trust products and services, including Trustee, Paying Agent, Escrow, and custodial services.
  • Advanced knowledge of banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and commercial banking products.
  • Strong understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, legal compliance obligations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, client relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and operational processes.
