Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:ย 

  • Acts as a liaison to IT and the business functions during the business requirements phase. Provides for the collection of business needs and the transformation into formal business requirements documentation
  • Analyzes change requests to determine feasibility in relation to existing business requirements and processes
  • Leads the business design for the end state solution while interacting with both business and IT functions
  • Communicates business needs to the IT development team.ย  Guides the IT development team during the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation phases (SDLC)
  • Provides for project management tasks in addition to business analysis accountabilities. Informs and communicates to both business and IT on task completions, and risks Coordinates testing, implementation and approach, training, and solution deployment
  • Works with business users to prepare detailed specifications that can be communicated and translated to the IT team to build and implement end state business solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Other duties as assignedย 
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:ย ย 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology or related field and 1 to 2 years of experience in IT including guiding external vendors on project work and systems design and implementation experience OR High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and 3 to 5 years plusย of related experienceย 

Preferred Education and Experience:ย ย 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience within a multi-location organization, operating in a 24x7 environment
  • Experience within the Supply Chain and Distribution industry
  • Experience working with major ERP Systems such as VIP
  • Experience working with the following technologies; Salesforce, MuleSoft, Blue Yonderย
