Remote Back Office information

What is a remote back office?

A Remote Back Office job involves performing administrative, data management, and support tasks for a company from a remote location. Responsibilities may include data entry, processing transactions, managing documents, and assisting with customer or internal inquiries. These roles help ensure smooth business operations without direct customer interaction. Remote Back Office employees use digital tools to collaborate with teams and complete tasks efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the remote back office position?

To thrive as a Remote Back Office professional, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in administrative tasks, often supported by a relevant degree or experience in business administration. Familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and cloud-based CRM or data management systems is typically required. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities help set individuals apart in this position. These skills ensure efficient, accurate support of business operations, enabling smooth workflow and effective collaboration across remote teams.

What are the main challenges faced by remote back office professionals and how can they be managed?

Remote Back Office professionals often face challenges such as managing multiple priorities, staying organized without in-person supervision, and maintaining efficient communication with cross-functional teams. To manage these, it's important to establish clear routines, leverage productivity and collaboration tools, and keep open lines of virtual communication. Many find that proactively setting daily goals and maintaining regular check-ins with supervisors and teammates helps them stay focused and aligned with company objectives. Adapting to varied time zones and working independently builds resilience and flexibility, valuable traits in today’s distributed work environments.

We're here to make real estate transactions simpler. We do that by providing a digital lead-to-close experience for agents, brokers, and their consumers. We've seen a lot of change over the past 30 years-but we've been here to support real estate from day one.
With the diverse landscape of the real estate industry, we want diverse talent! We want to celebrate each other's individuality and embrace our differences to enrich our commonalities and relationships throughout our organization, and we want you to be a part of that.

  • Rely on interpersonal skills and product knowledge to diagnose, test, and resolve customer software challenges
  • Efficiently answer customer questions while displaying excellent email and telephone etiquette
  • Work with broker accounts, applying knowledge of Lone Wolf Foundation to support account-level needs
  • Submit Jira tickets for identified bugs or issues and monitor their status through to resolution
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and escalate issues appropriately
  • Recognize opportunities for improving product and customer experience based on the feedback you receive
What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience using or supporting Back Office is a plus
