Net Application Architect With AWS Migration

Location: Remote/US Duration: Fulltime

Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate custom home-grown applications
  • Work closely with enterprise architect, cloud architect to define the future state of applications on AWS cloud
  • Accountable for future state applications architecture on AWS cloud
  • Establish and enforce application architecture and deployment quality standards
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and assistance to the teams in the implementation of established architectures and designs
  • Mentor and coach developers to ensure that architecture best practices are followed
Required Skills / Qualifications
  • 12+ years of application design, implementation, and/or consulting experience
  • Hands on experience with.NET, java, python, Oracle, SQL Server & scripting languages and good understanding of AWS Well-Architected framework
  • In-depth understanding of 3 tier architecture, microservices, cloud native development, containerization & orchestration
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
  • 2+ large scale migration projects, on-prem to AWS cloud migration
  • Strong skills in AWS services across compute, storage & serverless (EC2, EBS, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, RDS etc.)
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, technical conferences, and development teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to connect with multiple internal and client stakeholders
  • Ability to mentor colleagues on the latest cloud concepts and architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
