Job description

Role: Oracle OTM Consultant
Location: Remote - CST Hours
Long Term Contract – W2 / C2C

Job Summary:  We are seeking an experienced Oracle OTM Consultant to support the design, configuration, integration, and optimization of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solutions across global logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in OTM modules, process automation, system integration, and customization to enhance transportation planning and execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) modules, including:
    • Order Management
    • Transportation Planning & Execution
    • Supply Chain Visibility & Event Management
    • Freight Bill Audit & Payments
  • Customize and configure OTM to meet business needs, including Workbench design, workflow optimization, and user-specific configurations.
  • Develop and enhance reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide real-time transportation visibility and analytics.
  • Design and implement process automation solutions within OTM for increased operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external IT partners and systems, including:
    • Geodis, FourKites, Inspirage, P44, SAP ECC, and various Carrier IT teams
  • Ensure seamless integration between OTM and ERP systems, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight platforms, and internal tools.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts and extensions using SQL, PL/SQL, and other OTM-relevant technologies.
  • Participate in system testing, UAT, deployment, and hypercare support post go-live.
  • Document configurations, integration points, and operational processes in accordance with IT and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Overall IT Experience: 12-15+ Years
  • SAP Experience: 9-11+
  • 5-7+ years of experience working with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) in global or enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of OTM architecture, data model, and functional modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Workbench customization, report development, and business rule configuration.
  • Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, OTM APIs, and integration with platforms like SAP ECC, P44, and FourKites.
  • Experience in working with transportation carriers, logistics providers, and supply chain visibility platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in OTM environments and integrations.
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience with OTM cloud implementations.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware tools.
  • Experience in agile delivery environments and DevOps practices.
