What is a remote auto paint mixer?

A Remote Auto Paint Mixer is a professional who blends automotive paints to match specific vehicle colors and finishes, often working for auto body shops, car manufacturers, or suppliers. Unlike traditional paint mixers, they perform their tasks remotely, using digital systems, color-matching software, and sometimes coordinating with on-site staff to ensure accurate color formulations. Their responsibilities include interpreting color codes, mixing pigments and chemicals, and ensuring consistency in paint quality. This role often requires knowledge of automotive paint systems and the ability to troubleshoot color-matching issues from a distance. Remote Auto Paint Mixers play a crucial role in the vehicle repair and customization industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote auto paint mixer?

To thrive as a Remote Auto Paint Mixer, you need a solid understanding of color theory, automotive paint types, and mixing techniques, often supported by vocational training or relevant certifications. Familiarity with digital paint matching systems, mixing equipment, and inventory management software is highly valuable. Attention to detail, strong communication, and problem-solving skills help you deliver precise color matches and coordinate with clients or auto body shops remotely. These abilities ensure high-quality, consistent paint results and efficient service, which are crucial for customer satisfaction and operational success.

What are some common challenges faced by remote auto paint mixers and how can they be effectively addressed?

Remote Auto Paint Mixers often encounter challenges such as ensuring accurate color matching without direct, in-person supervision and managing shipping logistics for mixed paints. Maintaining clear communication with clients and body shops about specifications and deadlines is crucial. Utilizing digital color-matching tools, adhering to standardized mixing procedures, and staying organized with inventory can help mitigate these challenges. Additionally, collaborating closely with team members and providing detailed documentation for each mix ensures consistency and customer satisfaction.

Job description

Description
LeadVenture is looking for a remote Territory Manager to support our Net Driven brand! This is a true hunter role. In this role, you'll work directly with independent automotive tire shops, providing tailored digital marketing solutions that help them grow and manage their business more effectively. Your core focus will be identifying the gaps and pain points in a dealer's current website solution and guiding them toward the right product to fill those needs - with your main objective being to help them adopt a new website through our company. You'll take ownership of prospecting, outreach, and sales growth - playing a key role in driving success for both our clients and our team.
You'll be assigned a dedicated territory and will build long-term relationships with dealers within it over time. This is a relationship-driven sales role, not a "dial for dollars" position - success comes from consistently engaging a defined set of accounts and earning trust within your territory, rather than working through an endless, ever-refreshing list of new prospects.
Here is more of what you'll get to do:
โ€ข Prospect and generate new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events and tradeshows.
โ€ข Evaluate a dealer's current website and online presence to identify gaps and pain points, then guide them toward the right solution to address those needs.
โ€ข Develop and maintain relationships with clients, identifying their digital marketing needs and presenting solutions.
โ€ข Conduct consultations and demos with clients to understand their business goals and objectives and how our products and services can help them achieve those goals.
โ€ข Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
You will thrive in this role if you have:
  • Must be located in CST or EST time zones
  • At least 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success
  • Experience generating new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and trade shows
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience using CRM software, preferably Salesforce
  • A strong hunger for growth and continuous learning
  • Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year to attend industry trade shows
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure, fast-paced sales environment with monthly quota expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a mixed-mode environment (onsite, remote, or hybrid), including consistent use of video conferencing, collaboration tools, and proactive communication while maintaining a professional on-camera presence.

Employee Benefits & Earnings:
โ€ข Full Coverage Health Insurance
โ€ข Company 401K Match
โ€ข Top Achievers Earn Our Yearly President's Club Company-Paid Trip
Does this position sound like something you would enjoy and be successful at, but you're not sure you have the exact qualifications to be considered? While our job descriptions are an outline for the type of candidate we're looking for, it is not a checklist. We encourage you to apply!
*This role is not open to candidates located in Colorado, Connecticut, California, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington.*
