What you'll do

  • Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and capital planning across multiple high-growth and scaled products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Product, Tech, Operations, and Marketing to evaluate investment opportunities and resource decisions
  • Build and refine financial models to assess ROI, profitability, and long-term value creation
  • Establish frameworks to evaluate success across the product lifecycle and drive alignment on key performance indicators
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable annual budgets and forecasts that reflect market conditions, customer behavior, and product stage
  • Conduct unit economics, profitability, and lifetime value analyses to support go-to-market and investment decisions
  • Drive the capital allocation process in partnership with business leaders and ensure sound financial stewardship of resources
  • Manage and develop a team of high-performing finance professionals, providing mentorship and coaching

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, or corporate finance.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and financial reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environments and adapt to constant change.
  • Experience with SQL or similar data manipulation tools to drive business insights.
  • Strong systems thinking approach to solving complex, multifaceted business problems.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical finance data into compelling narratives for executives.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $162,000 per year - USD $180,000 per year.


For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
