Job description

The Choice is hiring for our client, a national membership association for automobile dealerships, for an immediate Financial Statement Analyst.


Position Details

  • Position Type: This is a new internal position. Hiring initially on a temporary basis, with potential to transition to temporary‑to‑hire based on performance and the department's long-term staffing needs.
  • Schedule: In‑office Monday–Thursday; remote on Fridays. Target start date is early July
  • Compensation: $30–$35 per hour


One of the key benefits the association provides to its members is the distribution of monthly composite reports that allow automobile dealers to compare their performance to others in the industry. Members submit their financial data to the association, which is then compiled into these reports. The Financial Statement Analyst will be responsible for the accurate and timely review and processing of monthly dealership financial statements used to create these composite reports.


Qualifications:

  • Prior professional experience in an automobile dealership is strongly preferred
  • Approximately 2–5 years of experience in billing, financial analysis, accounting, or related data support
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data functions)
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong customer service, communication skills and flexibility


Job Duties

  • Review and process monthly financial statements from 400+ automotive dealerships
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting
  • Generate monthly financial composite reports
  • Investigate discrepancies and communicate directly with dealerships
  • Maintain SOPs and support ongoing process improvements
