The Therapeutic Horizon Behavioral Health Center is seeking dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists, specifically those holding LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW licenses, to join our dynamic team. Our dedicated team of professionals focuses on treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still connecting with your clients via telehealth platforms. You will utilize advanced technologies and tools, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, to document sessions and maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for flexible scheduling based on patient needs.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through thorough interviews and validated screening tools to accurately identify patients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy tailored to the specific challenges faced by your patients.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at enhancing community connection and addressing shared mental health concerns.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure holistic and coordinated care for every patient.
• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate assistance during mental health crises, ensuring that patients receive prompt and effective support.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster understanding and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans, abiding by all legal and regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing case consultations with peers and participate in regular team meetings to continually enhance care practices and share insights.
• Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health therapy to continually provide the highest quality of care.

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals from various cultural, socio-economic, and age backgrounds. Therapists will work with clients facing a range of challenges, providing them with tailored treatment plans to address their unique needs. Your role will be vital in ensuring that each patient feels seen, heard, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• Thorough knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with patients.
• Strong judgment and adherence to ethical practices within the field.
• Proficient in EHR systems and familiar with telehealth workflows.
• Collaborative mindset to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a telehealth or outpatient setting.
• Proven track record of developing and leading psychoeducational groups.
• Experience working with specific populations such as adolescents, couples, or those with substance use issues.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes in the Chicago area.
