Soothing Sanctuary Health & Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to enhance our dedicated team offering mental health services remotely from Naperville, Illinois. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms, ultimately developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders effectively, adjusting approaches as necessary based on client feedback and progress.
• Provide ongoing support and education to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and the significance of self-care practices.
• Monitor client advancement throughout the therapy process, making necessary adjustments to ensure the treatment plan remains aligned with the clients' evolving needs.
• Collaboration is key; consistently engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to promote integrated care and the best outcomes for clients.
• Stay current with advancements in the field of mental health through regular professional development activities and research, which enhances treatment approaches and supports client success.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to promote a culture of shared knowledge, continuous learning, and teamwork.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals diagnosed with various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required to lay the foundation for this crucial role.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Illinois demonstrating your commitment to professional standards and ethics.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT, to provide effective and compassionate support to clients.
