• Conduct thorough assessments and, when necessary, provide diagnoses using clinical tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to develop individualized treatment plans that consider cultural diversity and the unique needs of the patient population.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions tailored to support improved mental health outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous and timely treatment records and documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and utilizing contemporary data management systems.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to create comprehensive treatment plans focused on measurable objectives and ensuring active participation of all stakeholders.
• Oversee the coordination of referrals, establishing productive relationships with other treatment providers to facilitate a holistic approach to patient care.
• Contribute to the professional development of the team by offering educational guidance and mentorship to trainees and fellow clinicians, including opportunities for peer review and collaborative clinical audits.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Richmond Healthcare Services, you will primarily work with adults and families affected by cancer. Understanding the multifaceted emotional, social, and psychological impacts of this diagnosis is crucial. You will utilize your skills in empathy and support to help clients navigate their unique challenges, build resilience, and improve their overall coping mechanisms during difficult times.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Although not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in oncology social work or mental health treatment within hospice and palliative care settings will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and an understanding of the cancer care continuum will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
