As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Compassionate Care Counseling, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions through secure video platforms, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
• Employing solution-focused therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
• Developing insightful and actionable treatment strategies that encourage self-discovery and promote emotional resilience.
• Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to foster improvement and address challenges.
• Assisting clients in building healthy coping mechanisms and enhancing their quality of life through therapeutic interventions.

Our client base consists primarily of stable, low-acuity adults seeking guidance on a range of mental health concerns. This includes anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our goal is to empower these individuals through skill-building and supportive therapy, ensuring they have the necessary tools to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued mental health counseling license enabling independent practice. Licenses accepted include: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note that provisional or limited licenses, as well as any disciplinary actions, will not be considered.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with a genuine empathetic nature.
• Strong proficiency in using technology for virtual counseling sessions, including a reliable computer setup with webcam and audio capabilities, and a dependable internet connection.

We prefer candidates with at least two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, which could significantly enhance your ability to understand and respond to client needs effectively. Experience in diverse therapeutic modalities and specific populations is also advantageous.

Our compensation package includes:

• A competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 104,000 annually, depending on availability and hours worked.
