Job description

The Role

Our client is looking for an attorney who is passionate about immigration and helping our clients navigate complex regulations to gain life-changing opportunities. You’ll be a leader within the Client Services team, directly working with clients and reviewing the work of Immigration Specialists.

You will provide industry-leading service to prospects and customers by offering timely and clear legal guidance. You will use your legal expertise and strategic thinking to help our client to continuously expand our product offerings. You are energized to help our client as they automate a manual, confusing immigration process into a modern, intuitive experience that connects global talent with opportunity.

This is a remote position. They are accepting applicants in the U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Offer a consistent, industry-leading experience to customers by providing legal support and strategy from the initial kick-off call through petition filing.
  • Provide legal strategy and legal review for initial submissions, re-submissions, and RFE/NOID responses prepared by Immigration Specialists.
  • Develop new processes and templates so that our client can offer additional product offerings.
  • Provide training to help Immigration Specialists level up.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to the Technology team to help advance our clients technology objectives.
  • Provide feedback to the Technology team to further develop our clients technology vision and products. 5% of the role is dedicated to collaborating with the Technology team.
  • Work on special projects, as assigned.

Definition of Success

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience as a business immigration attorney. Experience in both non-immigrant filings (O-1, H-1B, H-1B1, TN, E-3, E-2, etc.) and immigrant filings (EB-1, EB-2 NIW, I-485, etc.)
  • Experience directly working with Paralegals and/or Immigration Specialists at a high-volume business immigration practice.
  • Experience building processes and templates.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience collaborating with Technology and/or Product teams.
  • Prior experience working with startup founders or technology companies.
