• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of mental health conditions for patients aged 12 and up, tailoring your approach based on individual needs and circumstances.
• Deliver psychotherapy sessions through secure audiovisual telecommunication platforms, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions.
• Utilize standardized screening tools to measure patient outcomes, documenting all provided services, diagnoses, and billing codes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Adhere to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and all legal and regulatory standards governing the practice of telehealth in Washington State.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and community health workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Provide advocacy for clients by connecting them with community resources and services that facilitate their recovery and well-being.
• Participate actively in case reviews, professional training, and staff meetings to enhance team efficacy and your own professional development.

Your primary focus will be on individuals across the lifespan, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients. You will be equipped to handle a variety of issues ranging from anxiety and depression to complex trauma cases. By employing a telehealth approach, you will extend your reach to serve clients in remote areas, ensuring that mental health support is accessible to those who may have previously faced barriers to care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential, allowing for independent practice in Washington State.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience as a mental health counselor or medical social worker, with direct experience in providing psychotherapy.
• Strong understanding of clinical terminology and psychological principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail for accurate documentation and case management.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and telehealth technologies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet documentation deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a capacity for empathetic communication that supports client engagement.

• Experience with specific populations such as youth or geriatric clients, or specialties like substance abuse or trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.
• Capability to navigate and utilize various digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and other collaborative platforms.

The compensation for this full-time role ranges between $80,000 and $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
