This role operates in a fully remote setting, utilizing telehealth technology to provide therapy and counseling services. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Vibrant Minds, you will engage with clients via secure video conferencing platforms, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and care. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clients' emotional and psychological needs through initial consultations and ongoing assessments.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that effectively address the unique challenges faced by individuals, couples, and families, ensuring alignment with clinical best practices.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote therapeutic dialogue and support mental wellness.
• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to create coherent and comprehensive care plans for clients.
• Proactively manage referrals, ensuring clients receive appropriate resources and support tailored to their needs, including follow-ups with medical professionals when necessary.
• Educate and support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges effectively.

Our client base is diverse, including individuals from varied backgrounds facing a multitude of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction. As a counselor, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their unique situations, fostering resilience, and facilitating positive behavioral change.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State is mandatory.
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE) with a passing score.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities and a genuine empathetic nature.

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably in a telehealth setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to effectively manage client information and treatment documentation.
• Demonstrated experience dealing with a range of mental health disorders, alongside insights into addiction recovery processes and underlying physical health conditions.
• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and a solid understanding of how medical prescriptions can impact mental health.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, and includes a sign-on bonus to enhance your transition into our practice.
