JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling medium to large capital equipment projects within a cross-functional organization. This role is accountable for maintaining project budgets, monitoring schedules, and implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure projects remain on track. The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle and is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring overall project satisfaction. Success in this role requires the ability to effectively lead cross-functional project teams that may include degreed engineers, production personnel, and field service staff to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Project Manager will be expected to perform:
  • Execute and deliver successful capital equipment projects to customer, on time, within budget, and meeting all requirements and expectations.
  • Responsible as the main point of contact for customer project execution and satisfaction.
  • Monitor cross-functional team members’ progress against project plans, identify issues early, and facilitate the resolution of those issues.
  • Accountable for project stage-gate execution process adherence and associated KPIs.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams composed of project, electrical, and mechanical engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing.
  • Review company proposals and customer specifications.
  • Lead project review meetings and manage action items.
  • Support the development of specifications for major buyout equipment.
  • Evaluate sub‑supplier proposals to ensure completeness and compliance with project specifications.
  • Review and approve fabrication drawings and purchase requisitions to confirm accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Monthly financial forecast planning and presentation to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Support sales in developing preliminary project schedules and evaluating forecasted capacity.
  • Lead customer PHA/HAZOP and customer review meetings and facilitate customer inspection visits.
  • Coordinate and support project team members in the execution of assigned tasks and take on direct responsibility and accountability for various project-related actions.
  • Main customer contact from sale through commissioning and project close-out.
  • Consistently demonstrate and uphold Anguil’s four core values through actions, decisions, and interactions

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient use of company resources and ensure successful project outcomes.
SKILLS amp; QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, an ability to improve project management practices and substantial team leadership experience with a focus on team development.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills
  • Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint
Preferred
  • Experience with capital equipment systems such as boilers, ovens, furnaces, or oxidizers.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
EDUCATION amp; EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field; engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in engineering project management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
