As a Product Designer at Frontline Education, you'll help create intuitive, engaging, and meaningful experiences that empower K-12 educators and administrators. Working as part of an empowered product team, you'll explore user needs, shape problem definitions, and co-create solutions that make measurable impact for both our customers and our business.
You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to bring ideas from discovery through delivery - applying design thinking, research, and prototyping to ensure what we build truly solves the right problems in the right way.
How You'll Drive Success
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to explore and define customer problems through research, data, and direct engagement.
  • Conduct user interviews, journey mapping, usability testing, and concept validation to uncover insights and guide decisions.
  • Translate research findings into actionable design opportunities and hypotheses.
  • Design elegant, accessible, and scalable solutions using wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Apply systems thinking to ensure consistency and scalability across Frontline's design system.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and well-executed in production.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback, balancing user needs, business outcomes, and technical realities.
  • Contribute as a core member of an empowered product team - working side by side with Product and Engineering throughout discovery and delivery.
  • Use analytics, feedback, and experimentation to measure design impact and inform iteration.
  • Champion user-centered design and accessibility standards across all initiatives.
  • Stay curious about emerging technologies like AI and automation, exploring how they can elevate user experience and drive innovation.
What You Bring to Help Us Grow
  • 2-5 years of experience designing digital products, preferably in SaaS or enterprise settings.
  • Strong interaction and visual design skills, with fluency in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
  • Experience conducting or collaborating on user research and usability testing.
  • Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces.
  • Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and design system best practices.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across product, engineering, and business teams.
  • Comfort working in an agile, fast-paced, and feedback-rich environment.
  • A growth mindset - open to learning, iterating, and evolving your craft.
  • Curiosity and excitement about AI - eager to explore how emerging technologies can improve experiences for users and teams.
What You'll Need to Thrive
  • Empathy for users and a deep desire to understand their challenges.
  • Confidence navigating ambiguity and helping teams discover the right problems to solve.
  • A collaborative spirit that values shared learning and co-creation.
  • Curiosity about new tools and approaches that make design smarter and more impactful.
  • A balanced mindset that combines creativity, systems thinking, and thoughtful use of technology.
