Metrapolis Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Metrapolis, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs.
• Assessing clients' mental health needs through comprehensive evaluations and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
• Cultivating a therapeutic alliance with clients to foster trust and motivation for change.
• Participating in clinical supervision and team meetings to discuss cases and collaborate on best practices.
• Providing crisis intervention and support as needed, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and stay updated on industry trends.
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients while addressing their specific cultural and individual needs.

The LMFT will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. You will have the unique opportunity to help clients tackle issues such as relationship challenges, trauma, grief and loss, perinatal mental health, and LGBTQ+ concerns. Your ability to provide bilingual therapy in both English and Spanish will greatly enhance your impact on our community.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current, active, and unrestricted LMFT license.
• Strong written, oral, and non-verbal communication skills, especially in bilingual therapy (Spanish and English).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, specifically engaging with children, adults, and families.
• Respect and sensitivity towards individual client cultures and customs.
• Competence in collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Clinical training in evidence-based therapies (CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR) and a developed area of specialization.

Additional assets for candidates include:

• Experience acting as an in-network provider with at least one insurance panel.
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and Microsoft Office applications.
• A valid driver’s license and up-to-date car insurance.
• The ability to conduct telehealth sessions securely and in compliance with HIPAA.
• Willingness to work two evenings a week and one weekend day to accommodate client schedules.
• Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus.
